Emily Welisevich {Portrait}

Emily, one of my now good friends, was walking from the Hansen Center one afternoon just as I had been sent around campus to capture photos for The Herald. Because Emily and I vaguely knew each other at the time, I wasn't sure how she'd respond to my asking her to model for me, but she loved it! Turns out, her pictures were some of my favorite ever taken. 

Miquela {2012 Senior}

This past summer I began taking senior portraits for one of my best friends, Miquela. I used natural lighting for all of these except for the one at the piano (which was impossible to take without the flash). Our plan is to continue taking pictures through the snowy seasons, too, so there will be more of Miquela to come.
